Robert Davis is a 40 something father of 2 and devoted husband.
He owns many, many pieces of musical amplification more suited to playing Wembley Stadium in the 1970s than being stored in the attic of a terraced house in Watford.

Occasionally, when Davis feels sufficiently annoyed with his job, his children, his wife, Watford FC, the government, the internet, the parking situation on his road, Brexit (and so on), he will disappear up the ladder into the attic and record music on this equipment, screaming into the eaves like an angry bat.

8 of these explosions are collected here on a single 7”, recorded and mastered at maximum volume and without dynamic range. It is thrillingly loud, highly exciting and mercifully brief. If you like Gaunt, The Mummies, Billy Childish or The Mekons you’re going to love this.

I saw Haress support Godspeed in Coventry over the weekend and haven't been able to stop myself thinking about their set. It doesn't surprise me that they turn out to be from Bishop's Castle because this is what the welsh border sounds like. Uncanny, unsettling, beautiful. Wonderful discovery, SteveC
